It was important to make sure we had flexible cast members who were willing to 'sacrifice' (mind the pun) their time in order to be available for filming. We are fortunate enough to have drama students attending our 6th form so it was very easy to source actors with good working relationships. Casting wasn't an issue as we were aware of the actors abilities. We will also use them to feature on our magazine front cover and our poster.
We also had to check that our chosen filming location was suitable and whether we needed permission to film. As we are filming in a public park, permission wasn't necessary.
