In order for our trailer to be accepted as a media product it is essential to follow the codes and conventions of a horror trailer. One aspect which we will be expected to follow is the production company featured at the beginning and end of the trailer. We created our own logo using Serif Page Plus. We decided to use the name 'Tower Productions' as we drew inspiration from the water tower shown in our location shots. We then incorporated the image which resembles a tower into our logo. The combination of symbolism, and text creates a professional and memorable logo. It is important for our logo to be simplistic, therefore it wouldn't be necessary to use a variety of colours.
